The 2022 Hyundai Elantra comes equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. It can produce 147 horsepower with 132 pound-feet of torque. You can opt into a higher horsepower with a higher trim level, starting with the N Line, which can give you 201 horsepower with 195 pound-feet of torque from its 1.6-liter engine. The Blue and Limited hybrid models offer a 1.6-liter four-cylinder Hybrid engine with 104 horsepower and 109 pound-feet of torque. The energy efficiency compensates for the horsepower, but the hybrid models don't compromise on comfort.

Performance


The 2022 Hyundai Elantra uses its four-cylinder engine and front-wheel drive to provide smooth ride quality and acceleration, perfect for city and highway driving.
