If you’re in the market for an affordable electric sedan with a lot of style, long range, and impressive technology features, the 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 6 is almost impossible to beat. A flat floor contributes to the spacious feeling of the IONIQ 6 cabin. Even in the SE Standard Range base model, heated front seats are included and the driver’s seat has 8-way power adjustment with power lumbar support.

The standard leather-wrapped steering wheel has cruise, Bluetooth, and audio controls. There are also heated side mirrors with turn signal indicators and a dual automatic climate control system with second-row HVAC vents.

Performance

A 111kW electric motor providing 149 hp and 258 lb.-ft of torque is standard in the lowest IONIQ 6 trim level. It has a 240-mile driving range, rear-wheel drive, shift-by-wire, and five drive modes: Eco, Normal, Sport, Snow, and My Mode.

Technology

The 2024 IONIQ 6 is in no way lacking in technology. All models have an infotainment system with a 12.3-inch HD touchscreen with navigation system. The SE Standard Range base model has a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with an EV Technology Display and an audio system with AM/FM/HD radio. A three-month trial subscription for SiriusXM is included. You also get Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth for up to two devices, and three years of free access to multimedia and map updates at no extra cost.

Basic and advanced packages of Hyundai’s Bluelink+ Connected Car Service are standard. There is a USB data port and two USB-C charging ports in front and two rear USB-C charging ports.
