Breakfast is said to be the most important meal of the day. After a good night’s rest, it gives you the energy to get through the day. If you don’t fancy making breakfast, in Heath, OH we have numerous recommended options for the best breakfast places.

Coffee Shack Coffee Roasters & Café LLC

Plates of different breakfast meal at a restaurant.

Coffee Shack can be a little difficult to find, but once you’ve found it, you’ll always return. The owner and staff are very welcoming: just the vibe you need when you’re starting your day. The breakfast menu is basic, consisting of breakfast sandwiches, specialty toasts, fruit, and a wide variety of cereals. The simple menu makes ordering much easier, as it covers all the important food groups.

We love the bacon, avocado, and egg served on toasted multigrain bread. For something a bit lighter, the bagel with blueberry jelly is a firm favorite. Their food is very tasty, and all their breakfast items are freshly prepared while you wait. Their coffee is fantastic, freshly made from beans they grind themselves. The coffee shack is located at 409 S 22nd St Ste 3, and they’re open weekdays from 7 am to 5 pm, and on Saturdays from 8 am to 3.30 pm.

Daisy’s Diner

Daisy’s is a short distance from us at 3 W Church Street, Newark. It’s a simple family-owned and operated diner with no frills but excellent food. Family pictures cover two of the walls, giving a warm and inviting feeling. The diner’s size also gives you a cozy, comfortable feeling. The prices are good, and the portion sizes are ample.

Breakfast choices include four regular specials, a large breakfast called the pile-up, and seven everyday combo meals. They also make a variety of omelets. We like the pile-up breakfast with two eggs, bacon or sausage, home fries, and biscuits and gravy. It will certainly fill you up. Smaller appetites will enjoy combo #1 with two eggs, toast, and juice. You can also add a variety of sides to your meal, including extra bacon, sausage, and English muffins. Daisy’s is open from 7 am to 2 pm, Monday to Saturday.

Day Y Noche

Owned and operated by a husband and wife team, this great breakfast place has been delighting customers since 2004. The menu is a mix of American and Mexican breakfast choices and several healthy eating options too. The decoration looks straight out of a Mexican breakfast cantina, and the homely, relaxing atmosphere puts you at ease.

If you’re feeling hungry, we recommend the el grande amigo breakfast, with two eggs, bacon, ham, or chorizo, breakfast potatoes, and two pancakes. Speaking of pancakes, their cinnamon pancakes with pecan nuts and maple syrup on the side are incredible. Day Y Noche can be found at 134 Broadway E, Granville.

After breakfast, come over for a test drive at Coughlin Hyundai of Heath. We’re a proud recipient of the Torch Award for Ethics by the Central Ohio BBB.
