3. Burr Oak State Park

Located a little over 45 miles southeast of downtown Heath, Burr Oak State Park is another expansive nature reserve where you can spend a day having some quality time with your friends and family. Established in 1952, this place features a series of hiking and biking trails, designated hunting grounds, a well-equipped campground, picnic spots, boat launches, and a swimming beach. Getting here from the Heath city center takes about one hour by car along route OH-13.
